Free tier: All pay stub calculations are performed in your browser. We do not collect or store the financial information you enter (company name, employee name, salary, hours, tax details).

Pro tier: We store your email address (for account management), subscription status, and any stubs you explicitly save to your account. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

2. Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (page views, feature usage). This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity or financial information.

3. Payment Processing (Stripe)

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive only your email address and subscription status from Stripe — never your full card number or banking details. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

4. Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary for the Service to function (session authentication for Pro users) and aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

Free tier data is never stored. Pro tier account data is retained while your subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation, after which saved stubs are permanently deleted.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. For Pro users, you can delete your account and all associated data from the account dashboard. Email support@appsnap.co.uk for data requests.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. Pro tier data is encrypted at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Stripe (payments), analytics (aggregate usage data). Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they process.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to Pro subscribers.
